Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautifully maintained Himalayan meadows in the country, if not the best. There are so many folk stories in praise of Dayara Bugyal in the Himalayan regions, when tourists go up trekking they too get in awe of the beauty, that is the Bugyal, no amount of praise is enough, the grass in the entire meadows is so soft, the weather is so perfect, the grazing animals and local human population are so much complimenting each other, it is like a picture postcard out of a dream location. Once you reach the top you will have a 180 degrees beautiful view of the nearby hills, Banderpoonch, Kalanag, and Draupadi ka danda.
The entire journey is on forest trails, the forests are full of green and brown oaks with rhododendron trees, the experience of walking through these is so enchanting, and reminds one of childhood fairy tales. Once the snow starts to melt in April, Dayara Bugyal looks like a paradise with sunshine, trekking through the green meadows is an enchanting experience of another level. In the winters even skiing takes place due to heavy snowfall on the top.
Raithal is the starting point of the trekking journey, you will walk through maple and oak forests, and once you reach Gui an idyllic village you will have a first-hand experience of the lives on the higher Himalayas, further up is Chillapada (Chill your feet) this village is usually filled with a carpet of snow in the winter months, here you can acclimatize with the Himalayan breeze, and the beautiful landscapes. Once you go further up, your real trek starts here as the accent is a bit steeper, you can take off your shoes and start grass walking through the meadows.
Route: Dehradun to suwakholi to moryana top to Uttarkashi to bhatwari to raithal to natin village.
Pickup destination & time: Dehradun’s Railway station parking around 6am.

Raithal located 45 kilometers from Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand, Raithal isn't on the vacationer map, yet it would not make sense. The town houses are based on the lines of customary Garhwali engineering. Local people love at the Someshwar sanctuary where the directing gods are Shiva and Shani (Saturn). The sanctuary remains inverse the Shrikant mountain pinnacle, and offers a stunning perspective on the generous Himalayas.

first part of the day with stimulated soul to leave on the real trip. The path is a stroll through the wilderness. There are silver and gold oak trees all over. The course to the camping area is very much stamped and the campground at Gui generally stays in view. The path is simple and rises steadily. It will require around 4-5 hours to arrive at the following resting point. Make a point to convey 2 liters of water as there are no water sources on the way. The mountain sees become increasingly more conspicuous as you gain elevation while traveling towards Gui.

Lunch: Pack stuff on the way
Today is a more straightforward day relatively. The path rises gradually as the woodland clears and you arrive at the following campground of Chilpada. It will be a little journey. The path follows out of the Gui camping area and onwards towards Dayara. As you move out of Gui camping area, the mountains on the opposite side that were covered up draw nearer into view. You can track down a streaming stream close to the camping area. Conveying one liter of water is enough for now. You could get some snow follows on the way. Along the journeys, you will likewise recognize 5 6 Chania cabins where the shepherds cover their cows in the late spring months. The Gui Thatch offers lovely perspectives on Shrikanth top, and Gangotri I, II, and III pinnacles.

Altitude: 9,900 to 7,400ft.
Trail: Easy trail all the way
Today you will go the whole way to the Dayara top and return to the campground. Directing trail is a simple. Convey sufficient water for the way as there is just a single water source close to the top. With the initial not many strides under the timberland, the path steadily opens up prompting immense knolls. From this point forward, you will end up walking on the glades bloomed with colors. Chilpada is very near the Dayar Meadows, which gives practically the whole day to investigate the glades. As you enter the glades, you will recognize some Chania cottages in the future on the edge of the knoll.
At first, you have to arrive at Rishikesh, after that THC crew will deal with your further itinerary.
1. Take Cab/Bus/Train to reach Rishikesh
2. We generally suggest going for the govt. Transports over the private ones outside the bus stop as founded on the experience we have observed that there are exceptionally high possibilities of delay to reach destination and charges are a bit high . Likewise, govt. Transports are more trustworthy. Whichever transport you take, simply try to arrive at Rishikesh to at least by 05:30 am
first you need to arrive at Rishikesh, after that THC will deal with your further itinerary.
3. Take flight to Dehradun air terminal (Jolly Grant Airport) and drive to Rishikesh (20 km, 30 min), In case you are coming by flight, come one day ahead of schedule.
Drop
After morning tea move further to Rishikesh (breakfast and lunch on the way) Reach Rishikesh by 6:30 pm Drop off point is Roadways Bus station Plan your further travel after 7:00 pm.
Cancelling a trek/tour in himalayas is like a real pain when you have been planning of it since a long time. So to make it more convenient for the trekkers we introduce easy cancellation policy. This Policy is effective only as per your booking date.
1. If you are cancelling your trek prior 15 days from your trek date, then we provide you with the FULL REFUND.
2. If you are cancelling your trek within 15 days from your trek date, then there will be NO REFUND.
3. If you want to change the date of your trek, then it should only be done before 20 days from your trek date.
4. THC holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.
5. If we cancel/postpone our trek on the day of departure due to uncertain natural calamity or circumstances I( landslide, heavy rain ) in that case your total amount that you paid prior would be refunded within 3 working days.

Dayara Bugyal Situated in District Uttarkashi of Uttrakhand, Dayara Bugyal remains at a rise of over 10,000 ft/3048 m. This trip in the Garhwal Himalayas has become one of the most famous journeying courses with thick woodlands that open to an immense lavish green glade. The traveling for Dayara Bugyal begins from the town of Barsu.
Health advice
It is always advisable to take off your shoes when walking on soft layers of grass, it has immense health benefits. It is recommended by Ayurveda and all Yoga gurus.
Where to stay
There are no guesthouses, or hotels in Dayara Bugyal so one has to carry tents, and ration to cook for themselves, local cooks can be available at times though, or carry your food packets to enjoy your meal on the top viewing the beautiful meadows. Please ensure to keep the meadows clean when leaving.
