The valley is approximately 5 kms from Ghangaria. The high elevation serine lake, also called Hemkund ( 4329 mts.) Lies in celestial environs. A steep trek from Ghangharia leads you for the area in roughly 4 to 6 hours. It's a vital pilgrimage for both Hindus and Sikhs, in addition to for people from different faiths. There's a Sikh Gurudwara and also a Lakshman temple constructed in the bank of this lake. Encircled by seven snowclad peaks along with their associated glaciers, it reflects its own surroundings enchantingly on its own crystalclear calm waters. The glaciers out of Hathi Parvat and also Saptrishi peaks nourish the lake and also a little stream named Himganga flows out with the lake.

It's widely believed among Sikhs who Guru Govind Singh introduced the features currently loosely related to Sikhism.

There are 3 segments that'll push you too hard. The foremost is really on day one among those trek. You set from Wan village using a rise into the peak of the ridge which hangs across the village. That is an hours rise readily. Subsequently there exists a lovely descent into the Neel Ganga lake. From the river it's an out right scale of 31/2 hrs into Ghairoli Patal camp site. The fantastic thing is, it's an superb prep for the remaining occasions. And also the Ghairoli Patal camp-site causes it to be worth the rise.

On the fourth afternoon, there's just a rigid rise from Patar Nachauni into Kaluvinayak. It's a switch straight back rise (zig-zag ) gaining altitude immediately. It's within 2 weeks. However, in the elevation your lungs and legs will probably shout.

On the fifth day, even whenever you scale Hemkund Sahib, it really is still another huge climb. It requires approximately 3 hours for at Hemkund Sahib, usually online snow. The delight of this day, even though, makes everyone else forget that the rise. There are mild climbs in between, specially on day three and two, however, perhaps not something which will stretch you.
